The Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia 2026 competition was officially unveiled during a press conference on May 14, 2026, at the Majestic Marine Ballroom, Confetti KL, Mines Wellness City in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

Themed “Network is our Networth,” this year’s edition focuses on women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship and international networking.

The competition equips modern women with business-oriented skills, international networking opportunities and a strong emphasis on holistic wellness and sustainability.

It recently wrapped up its preliminary audition phases at MeLife in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

The excitement will culminate at the Miss CosmoWorld 2026 Grand Final, scheduled for October 27, 2026 at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur.

Miss CosmoWorld founder and head of CL Skin Sdn Bhd Carrie Lee Sze Kei outlined a business-oriented roadmap for the Miss CosmoWorld 2026 pageant, repositioning the competition as an entrepreneurial launchpad, focusing on “Evolving, Empowering, and Elevating” contestants in four core pillars – women empowerment and entrepreneurship, global vision, networking mastery and skill diversification.

The press conference event brought together over 100 industry leaders, VVIPs, international representatives, and business partners.

Malaysian corporate figure and a member of the Selangor Royalty Y.M. Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Alhaj was the guest of honour and honorary advisor present at the event.

In an emotive speech, Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi  reaffirmed his longstanding support for the pageant and his close friendship with Carrie Lee, applauding her dedication in elevating the Malaysia homegrown pageant to a global standard and highlighting its shift toward empowering female entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, honorary advisor Dato’ Seri (Dr) Chong Chin Fung emphasized the pageant’s shift toward a business-centric model, highlighting how Miss CosmoWorld serves as a vital incubator for women entrepreneurs, providing them with the professional tools to navigate the competitive global marketplace.

In a significant appointment, Angelina Soh, previously the 2025 Miss CosmoWorld Malaysia first runner-up, stepped into the spotlight as the event organizing director for the 2026 edition. Soh also announced the launch of her new studio specializing in catwalk grooming and dance classes.

The studio represents her tangible step toward embodying the pageant’s core mission of female entrepreneurship and empowering women.

Carrie Lee also unveiled sponsored business and networking trips to China and France for upcoming winners under the banner “We see the world we travel to.”

As part of her ongoing initiatives with the Miss CosmoWorld organization, she introduced The Carrie Collection, a luxury cosmetic and wellness line, alongside its newly opened showroom at Aurora Place, Bukit Jalil.

The launch also featured strategic collaborations with Mimi Wong and Soon Hui Shan to promote matte and lip gloss products under the broader CosmoWorld Beauty Brand umbrella.

A highlight of the event was the “Walk of Fame,” segment featuring a parade of past queens. By showcasing returning titleholders, the catwalk serves to honor a legacy of empowerment, proving that the crown serves as a launchpad for lifelong impact, entrepreneurial success and global advocacy.

The Walk of Fame featured Angela Looi, Angelina, Darya (Kazakhstan), Elisse Tan, Genevieve Goh, Janessa Tan, Jina (Iran), Joyce Chao, Mimi Wong, Natalie Chiaw, Nicole (UK), Nihal (Morocco), Rachel Tee, Soon Hui Shan, Tay Cheah, Tiffany Lee, Vivian Tan and Yong Ke Ling.

As a staunch advocate for healthy living, Carrie Lee promotes vegetarianism as a key lifestyle choice. Miss CosmoWorld remains the only pageant globally to promote the philosophy of respect for all life and non-violence toward animals by serving only vegetarian meals during its Grand Final gala night.
